Our first planting of vines are well underway, next up 2nd planting and construction!

They say winemaking starts in the vineyard, that is so true. This year we followed up with 2.5 more acres of vines following the same steps with a couple tweaks from last year’s planting. We planted an acre each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot and a ½ acre of Saperavi all red wine grapes. We have now begun the construction for our Winery and Tasting Rooms, the winery for making the wine from our vineyard and the tasting room to give our customers the ultimate experience to enjoy our hand-crafted wines. We are very excited to begin this part of our journey and see it all coming together. We have truly been blessed by the grace of God. The tasting room is 3000 sf inside and will have 12X60 covered patios on each side and a 20X50 covered patio on the back. It is an American barn style building to show off the rustic country charm with Italian country infusion for the décor inside. It will sport a large spacious interior with alcoves separated by dual sided fireplace. It will have plenty of space for folks to enjoy their wine and relax a bit. After hours we will be able to host various events and wine dinners of course. The winery is formed up and awaiting the pouring of the slab. It will be a very similar footprint to the tasting room. Think country rustic, North Carolina down home style and atmosphere. That’s the vibe we are going for. Take a drive by and check out the construction as well as the vineyard expansion.
